Danbys opened its doors in June 2007. Our goal is to bring the residents of Munster and the surrounding communities together and provide an atmosphere that is as friendly, warm and as engaging as its people. Open 7 days a week, Danbys offers a spacious pub, a cozy dining room for special occasions & private parties, as well as, a patio and take-out service.

Our homemade food is top notch!
Debbie Mallett and our chef Robert Davitt create the best homemade meals and culinary delights in a wide variety of ways. We offer daily evening specials inspired and prepared by Chef Robert Davitt. Several times throughout the year we provide top-end dining by pairing Chef Robert’s creations with wines to deliver a meal that you will always remember.

Danbys is a special place to relax or come and have fun with family and friends. We boast to serving the coldest beer in the Valley and many of our customers are in agreement. The restaurant has won several Reader’s Choice Awards in Stittsville (even though we are not located there).

Danbys hosts a Men’s Dart League on Tuesday nights, a Euchre Club on Wednesday nights, and a NASCAR League whenever there's a NASCAR Sprint Cup event.
Every Saturday from Sept. to May, Tom T. Hill hosts an Open Stage at Danbys from 3 to 7 pm (or later) for local musicians to come out and perform. Danbys also brings in a number of great bands and offers Karaoke nights throughout the entire year.

Over the years, Danbys has hosted Canada Day in Munster where the whole community comes together to celebrate Canada’s birthday. Live entertainment, face painting, dunk tanks and good friends add to the day’s celebrations.
In the last three years, we have also given away many pairs of Ottawa Senators game tickets at our various events, dances & dinners, and for fundraisers of sports clubs and other charitable organizations.

As a part of the community, we sponsor a number of sports teams and entries into events including teams for Munster kids baseball, Richmond-Munster Minor Hockey, the Danbys team in the Adult Lob Ball league, and several cars in the Richmond Fair Demolition Derby.
